Our museum features local history displays, rotating exhibits, the history of Laurel & Hardy, with various fun facts to cover some of the Georgia Standards of Excellence in Education! Students will gain a deeper understanding of local culture, the film industry, and develop historical empathy by experiencing these authentic connections.
Your students will have endless learning opportunities, receive creative inspiration through our engaging programs and exhibits, and foster skills such as observation, analysis, and communication to encourage students to be critical thinkers.
Please, provide us with at least a 30-day notice for a tour so we can cater the tour to your students. If we do not have enough notice, we might not be able to do a guided tour, however, self-guided is still an option!
We can accommodate up to 15 people per tour, including chaperones.
The guided walking tours in the museum can be modified to a requested length of time, but the shortest we can do is a 15-minute tour.
Harlem or Laurel and Hardy Jeopardy: We can add a Jeopardy game that can be played in the cinema room to a guided school tour. The length of time for the game can vary. We have two Laurel & Hardy versions of Jeopardy and one History of Harlem version.
Crafts: We can provide a short craft for the littles based on the topic the student group wishes to cover and even holiday-themed crafts.
This page includes various worksheets and coloring pages for Laurel & Hardy fans of all ages. These sheets are free to download.
