The 31st Annual Oliver Hardy Festival was held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Downtown Harlem. There was a hometown parade, live entertainment, vendors, and food! Mr. Gary Russeth was the Grand Marshall of the day, chosen for his long standing devotion, volunteer work, helpfulness, and general good nature in the Laurel and Hardy Museum and all around Harlem.
We revealed the New Laurel and Hardy Museum, which now resides inside the Harlem Museum and Welcome Center. All of this is combined in the Old Columbia Theater on Louisville St. at the Red Light.
Please plan to join us for next year’s festival on the first Saturday in October, 9:00am - 4:00pm.
We are currently planning for the 2020 Oliver Hardy Festival.
The Festival will be held Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The vendor requests and parade entry requests are up on the Festival page of the City of Harlem.
