The 31st Annual Oliver Hardy Festival was held on Saturday, October 5, 2019, in Downtown Harlem. There was a hometown parade, live entertainment, vendors, and food! Mr. Gary Russeth was the Grand Marshall of the day, chosen for his long-standing devotion, volunteer work, helpfulness, and general good nature in the Laurel and Hardy Museum and all around Harlem.
It is with great sadness that we announce the 2020 Oliver Hardy Festival has been canceled due to COVID-19.
Providing a safe and healthy experience for all those who attend and participate in the festival is of the highest importance to us. Due to COVID-19, we feel that we will be unable to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
The Laurel and Hardy Museum of Harlem, GA, and local businesses will remain open for normally advertised hours.
We are looking forward to hosting the 32nd Annual Oliver Hardy Festival on October 2, 2021.
If you previously registered for the Oliver Hardy Festival as a participant or vendor, please contact Andrew McMahon, at the museum at firstname.lastname@example.org or (706) 556-0401.
