Museum Donation Inquiries

We are seeking unique, personally connected items related to the legendary comedy duo Laurel and Hardy and their acting careers.

In particular, we are interested in objects that have a direct personal or professional connection to Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, or the people who worked with them. These may include:

  • Personal belongings
  • Production or behind-the-scenes materials
  • Correspondence (letters, notes, telegrams)
  • Original scripts, annotations, or working documents
  • Wardrobe pieces, props, or studio-used items
  • Photographs with a direct provenance or personal significance
  • Items owned or used by collaborators, crew, or family members

We are not currently seeking mass-produced memorabilia, such as commercially sold merchandise, widely distributed souvenirs, or reproduction items.

Our goal is to preserve and interpret authentic objects that help tell the human story behind Laurel and Hardy’s lives and careers, offering visitors a deeper connection to their creative work and legacy.
